Here's the sad reality:
The players play for the fans. The executives and management exist for the bottom line.
If executives and management cared about the fans, they wouldn't move NFL teams to new cities; they wouldn't force lock-outs; and they most certainly wouldn't prevent fans seeing a legend and (still) great player perform.
In any other NFL team, you sort of understand it since the teams are owned by a single owner, who gets the the final say. But this is not the case in Green Bay. In fact, the Packers are owned by the fans and citizens of Green Bay. So, why, then, isn't the elitest Packer management listening to their owners? It's plain and simple: They think they're better than the common citizen, even though the common citizen in this case decides whether they stay or go.
Perhaps we can change this. If you're an NFL fan (Packers or otherwise), please take a moment to answer the polls. Also, let other fans know about the polls via the "invite a friend" (enter their email address) tool under Brett's Picture. We will forward the poll results daily to the Packer "management".
Let's send a message to the Packer management that the Packer fans/owners will have a say in this!
